Gas Generator Backup System

Middlesex, NJ - - Advanced Specialty Gas Equipment introduces the new BRS Series automatic backup regulator system for gas generators. The BRS Series will instantaneously provide make up gas if the supply from a gas generator is interrupted. It does this automatically and will allow the gas supply to toggle back and forth with no manual reset requirements. The switchover is triggered by a pressure drop below a preset point.

The system is compact in design and can be wall mounted between the gas generator and back up cylinder. It consists of a two stage regulator, line regulator, in-line check valve and diaphragm seal isolation valves. It is available in either brass or stainless steel construction.

The BRS Series is designed for applications, such as gas chromatographs, where a continuous supply of gas is essential. It allows the gas generator to be turned off for service or maintenance without disturbing the gas flow to the point of use.
