Liquid Dewar Backup System

Middlesex, NJ - Advanced Specialty Gas Equipment introduces the new BRS Series automatic backup regulator system for liquid dewars. The BRS Series will instantaneously provide make up gas if the supply from a liquid dewar is interrupted. It does this automatically and will allow the gas supply to toggle back and forth with no manual reset requirements. The switchover is triggered by a pressure drop below a preset point.

The system is compact in design and can be wall mounted between the liquid dewar and back up cylinder. It consists of a two stage regulator, line regulator, in-line check valve and diaphragm seal isolation valves. It is available in either brass or stainless steel construction.

The BRS Series is designed for applications, such as critical chemical processes, where a continuous supply of gas is essential. The line regulator maintains constant outlet pressure, allowing for steady state process conditions. Remote alarms can be incorporated into the design.
